Exige Sport 410’s Selling Well
Discussion
I’m new to Lotus and surprised since I bought my 410 how well they are selling. It now seems the only sub 70k car is the 2019 at Hoffman’s with almost 8000 miles on it
Mind you with the amount of fun they give for the buck maybe I shouldn’t be surprised
I’m pleased I bought some 6 weeks ago when there was more choice!

There are a few brand new 410’s that have been for sale for a good few months. Stock 420 FE’s are now hitting dealerships and all are priced well over 80k. If there are no longer any discounts I think they may struggle to shift them at least until full details of the Emira are released.Mind you with the amount of fun they give for the buck maybe I shouldn’t be surprised

It will be interesting to see how the final 420’s are received and at what price the 410’s will finally find new owners
Either way I can’t stop smiling every time I drive it

Yeah, wish I’d have pressed go on that autumn gold car at 66k during lockdown in some ways…..
Wonder what impact the emira will have one it’s all out in the open on what exactly it is
Yes that Autumn Gold car was a good buy even though they wouldn’t budge on price,I got lucky with the Crazy Purple one for similar money so not complaining but there’s not so much choice about nowWonder what impact the emira will have one it’s all out in the open on what exactly it is
Some say the Emira will be 105k staring price but keen to see it

And new sales of the Elise & Exige are increasing, due to the old cars ending production at the end of the year.
I think they have already ended production haven't they? I wonder how many orders they have got for the Emira so far. And I wonder when it will actually be available!CTE said:
I don`t know how you could order a car without first knowing what your are buying...appreciate details will have been given confidentially but without seeing it in the flesh and actually driving it?? Everyone to their own I guess...
Almost all new model high end cars are bought without seeing or driving them.Where Lotus aspire to be I imagine

Did that with my Alfa QF. Ordered as soon as the books opened. Best car I've ever owned and miss it deeply.
Interesting that you say that as I have short listed a few cars for my next, one is an Exige (probably 350) and one of the others is an Alfa QF. 2 completely different cars but I am just not sure what I want. I have had a few Elises including a Honda k20 sc Elise so heart is leaning Exige but head is saying Alfa, would like to do a few track days per year and could rent a Caterham for that with a mate, car is for weekends and road trips mostly, is the Alfa special and fun enough? I've been following and enjoying your Exige posts so you seem to be the guy to ask!Rocket. said:

Having just come out of a 991GT3RS WP I find the LOTUS lacks nothing and delivers as many grins if not more!
Yes the RS is fantastic but not 3-1/2 times more fantastic when you compare the price
My friend drove mine and immediately bought one (410) he can’t stop driving it and now says he finds his Yaris GR dull as is his Ballboni
I guess that says a fair bit about how we are finding them
There are a couple of very nice V6 Cups for sale, they look a very good buy

Interesting to hear thanks. I kind of figured, Lotus in general are a bit more of an event and once you see past the short comings they are great fun, steering is hard to beat. I need to get out in one. If you can overcome the obvious shortcomings of space and entry/ exit everything else for a fun use car is more than spot on
