Does anyone have any further information on these models?

Final edition 430 I think is soon to go live at £115k+. The other ones...... no idea. Can't see the point in a 390/420.

Next model will be electric according to the dealers.

Why wouldn’t there be a point? The lower power models always sold before.

Edit: Just seen you have a 410 in your garage, so I’m even more confused.

I mean, if we've already got the 350, 380, 410 and 430 in recent build (380 not current but recent) then why do we need a 420 or 390? Surely something new is better??

350 finished several months ago, I tried to order a factory one but couldn’t.

Do you have any info re the specification of the 430 final edition car ?

Thanks.

From the very very limited info I have found, if you are seriously contemplating one you need to get in touch with a dealership ASAP.

No info personally, but I know an owner that's been offered a build. Very limited numbers and probably a bit of a styling tweek.

It's all a bit strange really, the 10 bhp difference is neither here nor there. I guess it's more to do with the spec of what's on the car overall.

I can't see there being the demand for a final edition 390 and 420 as well as a 430. Especially while the 20th Anniversary edition is still available to order,

Doing a final edition 430 makes a bit more sense I guess, although if the price is £115k that's a hefty premium over a standard 430. Will be interesting to see what more you get for the money, apart from rarity. I was thinking they might follow the example of the Anniversary edition and use the price and spec to make it a no-brainer to order one over the standard car.

maybe they can make a more special final edition incl more power, like a EX460 or even a EX500 ;-)

I have no details but I understand there will be an announcement very soon.

For a car of this type, if the changes are just aesthetic, eg new paint job / tweaked interior etc, with no notable performance improvement, what's the point !

They get to be in the news again (free advertising) with each new "limited edition".

That’s an awful lot of work (and money!) to go from 490 to 500 kit!

“Final edition” might imply it’s a little bit more limited than the usual..

I wouldn’t count on it. The Type 25/49/79 were 10 each (that’s very limited) but you know Lotus: Everyone gets a plaque that says 1/10, while Lotus might very well build more than 10...
I hope they will soon announce it.

I appreciate they can also just change a badge and call it a another new limited edition, I had a s1 Elise type 79 which was relatively rare but really just another “limited edition”
What I’m getting at is there may not be any more limited editions after the “final” one.

Fair comment. However, for a "final" edition if they gave it 30 to 40 more bhp and associated torque (if Komo-Tec can, Lotus certainly can) , plus wider wheels/tyres, now that would be impressive and would look even better.

If it's just yet another paint job and a bit of wood here and there - no thanks !

yep to much, but it seems a lot more work, engine open and sort, just saw that list what comes with it.

its great to say and think, mine's got 500hp... but keeping almost 10k in your pocket with 'just' 490ps I would be fine with.
