Why wouldn’t there be a point? The lower power models always sold before.
Edit: Just seen you have a 410 in your garage, so I’m even more confused.
I mean, if we've already got the 350, 380, 410 and 430 in recent build (380 not current but recent) then why do we need a 420 or 390? Surely something new is better??Edit: Just seen you have a 410 in your garage, so I’m even more confused.

Final edition 430 I think is soon to go live at £115k+. The other ones...... no idea. Can't see the point in a 390/420.
Next model will be electric according to the dealers.
Do you have any info re the specification of the 430 final edition car ?Next model will be electric according to the dealers.
Thanks.

It's all a bit strange really, the 10 bhp difference is neither here nor there. I guess it's more to do with the spec of what's on the car overall.I can't see there being the demand for a final edition 390 and 420 as well as a 430. Especially while the 20th Anniversary edition is still available to order,
Doing a final edition 430 makes a bit more sense I guess, although if the price is £115k that's a hefty premium over a standard 430. Will be interesting to see what more you get for the money, apart from rarity. I was thinking they might follow the example of the Anniversary edition and use the price and spec to make it a no-brainer to order one over the standard car.

maybe they can make a more special final edition incl more power, like a EX460 or even a EX500 ;-)

That’s an awful lot of work (and money!) to go from 490 to 500 kit! https://www.komo-tec.com/en/lotus-exige/mk3-toyota...

They get to be in the news again (free advertising) with each new "limited edition".
Fair comment. However, for a "final" edition if they gave it 30 to 40 more bhp and associated torque (if Komo-Tec can, Lotus certainly can) , plus wider wheels/tyres, now that would be impressive and would look even better. If it's just yet another paint job and a bit of wood here and there - no thanks !

its great to say and think, mine's got 500hp... but keeping almost 10k in your pocket with 'just' 490ps I would be fine with.
