Seriously Lotus Komo-Tec Exige EX460
Discussion
I bought my Exige 350 Sport new in early 2017 and immediately took it to Dave at Seriously Lotus in Hull for the first of what were to become numerous upgrades.
We started with Nitron 3 way suspension, a Seriously Lotus harness bar and harnesses, long range tank, quick release steering wheel and a set of forged wheels shod with ZZRs. I particularly like the harness bar as it bolts into the existing seat belt fixings.
We then later added the bigger carbon fibre splitter and rear wing (Thanks to Moorespeed for the wing mounts).
However, the more recent mods have prompted my post. A big contratulations to Dave as Seriously Lotus have just become Official Partner of Komo-Tec and can now supply and install Komo-Tec's superb upgrade kits and parts. My car was the second EX460 Seriously Lotus have installed and they have also installed the EX430 kit, both on friends of mine's cars (see photos). Dave is currently fitting the EX490 kit to his own 3/11.
I've opted for the Komo-Tec EX460 along with their gearbox cooler expertly fitted by Dave and John from Seriously Lotus. Straight out of the box the car feels robust and astonishingly 'factory'. It just feels right and not like some after market, under researched and developed kit. Instead it's linear, consistant and suits the car as if it had been fitted from new. Oh, and of course it's mental quick too.
To compliment the power upgrade and in the best spirits of, 'in for a penny, in for a pound', Seriously Lotus also fitted Performance Friction brake pads and an AIM2 Lotus dashboard, shift lights and bullet cam.
I'm absolutely delighted with the car and, as it's predominantly my track car, confident using it after I've seen and heard the commitment Seriously Lotus and Komo-Tec have to their relationship and customers. Track video to follow as soon as we're allowed!

I’m collecting my 410 Sport Anniversary Ed tomorrow. I thought I’d scratched the itch until....
You can get 475bhp from the KT 475 kit on a 410 for roughly half the price I paid to go to 460. Give Dave a call.Might be worth buying one of those parachutes that drag cars have too though. :-)

What’s yours like on the public highway? Apart from eye-watering. That’s probably where mine will spend most of its time.
Mine's predominantly a track car for me, I even trailer it to and from circuits. It only had the Komotec 460 kit fitted last month so I've not driven it much on the road but it still feels very factory. Everything is linear and the car feels like what you would imagine a Cup 460 would have been had Lotus built one. It has a ton of torque though and is extremely quick so obviously you have to watch your speed.TBH for road use only it's overkill. I have a few fairly powerful cars including an F12 and to be completely frank, my 981 Boxster S with 315bhp is enough for road use so you'll never 'need' more than you have on the road.
The Nitrons are superb though and I'm very impressed with the AIM2 dashboard too. Both worth having even if you're just using the car on road.
BTW, congrats on the 410. Any pics?
