The 'Ring

I'm thinking of taking Liz and the lovely wife to Germany, 2 reasons really, roads with no speed limits, and the 'Ring. i do fancy a few laps of that place. BUT dont know how to get the best from a couple of days abroad. I am sure a couple of you guys have done it, so any tips/ideas will be most appreciated, also places to stay local to the circuit would be nice. Cheers

My only personal advice is that knowledge really is king at the ring so watch out for locals and don't get cocky!

thanks, bens site is a good starting point, and has given me more than a few things to think about, but it still seems a good idea (at this time!!)
