Is there a link anyone can point me to showing which bolts need to be undone to take the undertray off and where to / how best to get to the sump plug and oil filter?

Also, what type of filter is it for a 111s - just a Rover one?

cheers

It's pretty obvious which bolts need removing, just by looking underneath the car.

Yes, a standard Rover oild filter for the VVC MG TF will be fine (or Champion equivalent).

Although the Workshop manual says cross-head screws rather than 8mm, and on my car the screws that fixed the trailing edge of the undertray onto the leading edge of the rear diffuser had seized, so when I first removed them, I had to take the undertray and diffuser off in one piece, together.

The Allen bolts require a 5mm hex, incedentally.

Just to confuse you a bit more, the picture on Steff's link is actually of the jacking points and shows what the rear of the chassis looks like after the undertray and diffuser have been removed.

I notice from your profile that you are West Midlands, Zebedee? If you fancy a drive over to the East Mids one evening, I know where you might find PDF copies of the full factory workshop manual and parts list on CD Rom.

E-mail me via my profile, if you are interested.
