Is there a real difference?

Hi Folks,

I'm still looking for my first Elise, but one thought I did have....

...To someone like me who hasn't ever had an Elise before, apart from the obvious differences between the 111s and the standard S2 models does there feel much difference performance wise?

I have had a drive in a 135...which made me smile from ear to ear. Would that feel alot more lively than a standard S2?

Do you have to be an experienced driver to really know the difference?

the difference is most noticable over 80mph at motorway speeds, up to 80mph not much in it.
