Just a quick question for you chaps. I noticed that the Elise has been assaulted by a rock, or something else hard, and it has taken a small chunk out of the front clamshell. The damage is at the bottom of the 'nobble' on the driver's side (the nobble is just to the side of the nuber plate). It is actually quite small; only about an inch long, but I want to get it fixed.

So, can anyone recommend someone in the Cambridge area who would be good to repair this sort of damage? Thanks in advance! :)

I guess you are talking about the one of the 'ears' on the front. If so i had the exact same problem, bit of debris from a builders lorry. Was fixed very well by a local accident repair centre. Shop around with your local repair centres and make your mind up on who seems like they know what they are talking about. My local place does 'smart repairs' which made it very reasonable.

I had what I thought was a similar problem a couple of months ago. Little chunk out of the 'sticky-out bit' beside the number plate. When the car went up on the ramp though, the clamshell was split right across behind the number plate. Result? Brand new clam

Get yourself down the motorway to Romford mate and have a chat to Wayne et al at Sinclaires.
