First Post - Elise S2 Ownership After 1 Month

Got an S2 111S in Storm Titanium with black leather & it looks the business
The roads around here in North Yorkshire must be some of the best for Elises! Last week we had brilliant weather & i just had to have the day off work & drive into the Yorkshire Dales to sample my 1st Elise.
Have covered 700 miles & the only problem is the heater direction knob is not working, hardly a major issue!
But i'm onto my 2nd number plate already!
I would like some feedback on exhaust systems, seen the Larini systems & they look pretty good, also induction kits - any thoughts?
I will keep posting if any problems occur or in another month after the 1st service.

Glad you like the car - excellent area. I know the N. Yorkshire roads well - you're right, great for driving a car like the Elise. I live in Norfolk where the land is totally flat but there's still some decent B roads around...

OK, suggestions. The Larini is possibly the best system for the S2, its well made, sounds great (even better with a de-cat pipe) and looks the business. plenty of S2 owners will be along to give some other suggestions no doubt.
As for induction the best VFM is the Hurricane system available from eliseparts.com at about £175 inc VAT & P&P. the ITG is also good but at £299+VAT it aint cheap.
Where did you buy your car from and is it brand new/still under warrnety with Lotus etc?

Just dropped my Exige off for its aftercare service and pick it up on Tuesday when I get back from Le Mans.
Glad you like the car. Have a look at the Eliseparts exhaust. They are very well made and sound fantastic.
As for induction if you want something just to improve the noise go for a K&N 57i, For something more expensive go for a Hurricane or top of the line get the ITG.

Eliseparts, Larini, Racetech or Bell & Colville for the cans, Hurricane for the induction (ITG if money's no object).
Can't wait to get up north in the new whip with the Kent SELOC boys at the beginning of July.
I was at Uni in Leeds and know the North Yorks moors around Pickering, Malton, Grossland, Grosmont etc. well. Beautiful countryside, brilliant driving roads.
