S1 Victory Wheels...

I'd really like a set but I keep hearing that they're heavy.

A quick google tells me that they're just over 1kg per wheel heavier than my AWI's for the corresponding fronts and rears.

Is it likely that I'll actually notice this (albeit unsprung) extra weight?

No.
They might be heavy but they’re bloody strong plus they’re the best looking S1 wheels

I went from Rotas to Victories, you could tell the difference, but it wasn’t night and day.

They are definitely the best looking wheels in my opinion

I've only driven a couple of Elise S1 apart from my own. There are so many differences in each now over the years of upgrades, set-up etc I couldn't tell you if it was the wheels that made them drive different.

Tickle, I've admired your car on the various forums I've seen it pop up on. The wheels really finish it off.

Compomotives and Speedlines are also good looking wheels. Not sure on the weight of the comps compared to victories. The Speedlines are lighter and IMHO better looking but they have the complexities of being made from magnesium, which I believe can throw up issues.

The best by far, but I’m biased of course, had two S160's with them. They are a bit pricey to buy now though.
