Just been sent some brake discs, EBC D978. I have a 2001 S2 standard, took one out to look at it against whats on the car and the ones on the car look thicker, as in the bit in the middle sticks out more.

I did specify what year and model, are they the wrong ones, anyone know???

Cheers

zirc,

Don't know if this helps as mine's an S1, but I ordered mine last week just before finding a thread from about a year back on Seloc regarding S1 EBC's.

From what I remember there was a batch of S1 discs that had something like a 7mm hub thickness instead of 10mm...hence they didn't centre between the caliper.

Who was your supplier? They may have old stock?

I used Powerstop.co.uk, who apart from knowing their stuff, delivered within 24 hours, gave me a good price and assured me that their stocks had none of the above previous problems.

Mine fitted perfectly with no run out, with perfect caliper spacing and work great!

Sounds like you got S1 discs. They have a much lower offset in the center.

You really need the specific S2 ones.

Bye, Arno,
