Lotus Elise S 1.8 Club Racer - Info request
Discussion
Hi, I'm currently interested in an Elise and had the following suggested by a member on another post which appears to fit the bill.
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...
I'm struggling to find much info on this specific model so wondering what options where available new and whether this one is lacking anything that is considered essential?
Also, I'm a bit confused about the roof. Did the CR model only come with a hard top and how easy is it remove / fit? I assume it cant be stored in the car at all?
Finally, are there any particular issues I should be looking out for on the Elise?
Any advice would be great thanks.

Colin there were a few different packs available but as to which were applicable on which cars is a minefield.
This has the comfort pack which is good for daily use.
Other packs were the touring pack which had cruise control and luggage nets, ideal if you were touring! and then there was the race pack which was good if you wanted to track the car.
As for the roof the hard top takes less than 10 mins to remove but cant be stored in the car as it is too big, if it hasn't got one you can fit a soft-top which would set you back approx. £600 and fits within a couple of minutes
