I have a 99 111S with 25k miles on it. It hasn't had the cambelt done yet, do you think it should be done?

If you do, can anyone recommend somewhere for a cambelt change on a 111S please? Not a service, just the belts....

Jude Performance Services would be a great place to get it done, but they are up in Newcastle so it would be a bit of a drive for you.

contact Dan, details can be found at: www.judeperformance.co.uk

I'm still here boys , will take more than a scratch to keep the kid down. Onwards and upwards!

I heard about them today on SELOC because they have a W plate yr 2000 Type 79 almost exactly the same spec as El Beast!

The guy I spoke to seemed really nice... probably worth looking into or asking on SELOC to see if anyone's used them.

Cheers all.

Have been trawling the web for specialists for most of the evening and have pinged a few e-mails around.

I was going to use Brooke Kensington but they won't do a cambelt only and weigh in at £535, a fair price but a bit of a waste when it's just had a B that costs £295. Implication is that cambelt job is £240 or so, am I right?!

Will try a few of those mentionned above. Has anyone used Kelvedon in Spalding??www.racecar.co.uk/kelvedonlotus/

I usually charge 150 quid for a cambelt change only. This is about the going rate for any specialist I woulde have thought.

While we're recommending our favourite specialist why not use Fibreglass Services on the south coast

Seriously, a cambelt change and service cost me less than £300 but FGS are cheap on labour so anywhere around £400 for belts and service is good.

That's no problem Dave. Pop in and say hello next time you're visiting your mum.
