S1 Elise Steering wheel extender for 6'4" pilot.
Discussion
Firstly hi to everyone this is my first post to this group.
I have recently purchased an R reg '98 Elise lotus racing green and basically can not keep out of it!!
Any excuse to take it for a spin, even being the GF's taxi at the weekends! Alcohol consumpion has dropped to unbeatable low records!
So to the small problem I have being 6 foot 4 inches with v long legs there is not really enough room between my knees and the steering wheel.
Does any one know if either an alternative steeling wheel (one that sticks out more) or some sort of extender cage for the existing one is available?
Also I'm having the rear suspension replaced tomorrow, what would be the best setting for road driving, really hard or medium?
Thanks for your help!!

try geary at www.eliseparts.com or similar
he has different steering wheels - and is quite innovative in making heath robins adjustments - no offense geary.
as to the suspension - unless you use it on the track don't mess with it - its fairly firm any way
I am no expert - the dealer is one source - or if you really want to mess with your spring rates and stuff
look at www.british-cars.co.uk - go to the lotus elise technical forum and ask there - they can give you settings.
waste of time if you ask me ... unless you lower the car no need to adjust rates.
enjoy the new car ..
