Labour rates (nothing to do with the election!!!)

Hi guys. can anyone tell me what you would expect to be charged for an hours labour for the elise. My local "expert" charges £45, which might not be bad, but I also don't want to be paying for him to learn as he goes, never really having worked on an Elise before!

main dealers 70 - 80
independants tend to be between 30 an 45
a very few are under 30 but the chances of one of these being round the corner are low an u'l likley have a long drive
