Front indicator bulb replacement S1

Hi, not too familiar with these cars and looking after one whilst a friend is working abroad.

The front indicator bulb has gone, I assumed a simple job but the manual makes no sense to me and the only google explanation of the procedure involved bits of wood bracing against the bodywork and all sorts.

Can anyone help put me on the right track?!

Remove front wheel, or turn it so you can gain access to the front portion of the arch liner.

Pop the circular panel out of the liner.

Enjoy a game of operation, but blind. I'm guessing now, but it looks like you remove the plug from the back of the housing, then twist the bulb holder out of the housing. Have a look here at what one looks like: https://www.eliseparts.com/products/show/53/332/re...

Have done this exact job this weekend, it’s easier if you take a front wheel off, undo the arch liner from the lower front fixings, you can then peel the arch liner back enough to actually see the indicator, it’s a simple anti clockwise twist and pull then.
