Elise S2 1st MOT FAILURE

Hi guys,
I have just MOT'd my 02 plate S2 Sports Tourer for the first time. Unfortunately it has just failed on emissions. I have got a couple of modifications, but nothing that I would have thought would cause failure. I have got an induction kit and an SS lotus supplied sports exhaust. I have not removed the cat, and I believe these to be the only mods that have been done. Anyone else had the same or similar problems? Can someone help me?

Hello matey,

Which reading did it fail on?

This will tell you where to start looking.

My failed on the Lambda reading and I traced the fault to a faulty O2 sensor. Exhaust leak can give the same problem.

Turns out the machine was on the blink, so it was ok after all......
