My Exige is booked in for its running in service on Tuesday.

Engine is starting to loosen up along with the gearchange. Handling is sublime !!

What a car.....

So it is 1000miles / first service and not 600 miles like some people claim for running in...? That's hard work - alright but worth the wait...

600miles just means you can give it a bit of abuse over 6200 revs, although not too much
1st service is 1k

Will be 1,000 by the time I get to the dealer in the morning. Been slowly extending the revs over the last few hundred miles and gone into the power cam area on a couple of occassions, feels fast above 6,000 revs, looking forward to be able to use that area of the rev range on a more frequent basis.

Should help to keep me smiling !!!

Yup still got it but I just dont get much time to drive it these days as my 10 month old daughter seems to take up a lot of my time!

Its always good taking her to sainsburys and parking in the mother and baby spaces next to all the mum trucks and getting all the disaproving looks as I get my daughter out of the elise.

Just changed the pads and disks the other weekend and now the stopping power is stunning especially when the tyres have warmed up.

Aaaaaarrggghhh !!!

Took my car in for the service today only to find that I can't drive it home as I have a suspension problem.

Parts should arrive in the morning and should have the car back tomorrow, a pain when you live two and a half hours away from the dealer !!

Got there demo in the garage tonight, must say enjoyed the Stage 1 exhaust on the drive home !!

Bought it from Dick Lovetts in Swindon and its there for its service.

I was p/x ing an M3 CSL and having a few BMW sites they gave the best price against the Exige - by a long way !!

Matthew the salesman, is very good, easy to deal with and being in the motortrade myself I hate dealing with 'salespeople' who do not know what they are talking about - trust me there are a lot of them out there, all arrogance and b***s**t !!

By the way, none of my team are like that, so if anyone fancies a Honda.........

Just had a call from them, the wishbone is there and they will fit, test and deliver back to me this afternoon and collect their car.

Can't fault them for how they have dealt with the problem, even though it is slightly annoying to have a fault straight away. Dick Lovett have been great.
