I know many people have no issues with the standard S2 seats and already find them comfortable and that's fine but the truth is that I don't like them and I'm getting so fed up with them and the backache they're causing me that if I can't find a way of making them comfortable then the car is going to have to go.

I've tried putting light padding on them and it improved things a bit but not enough.

Are the Probax seats that much better?

Have any of you got your seats reupholstered with the Probax inserts added and, if so, how has that worked out?

Are there any other alternative options that any of you have used?

If it's lumbar support, demon tweets do an inflatable bladder that goes behind the cushion, worked for me.

I find the seats rather upright and force my head forward. I've not driven a Probax-seat car to tell any difference. I've thought about spacing-up the front mounts for some rearward tilt. Worth a shot for you to improve the position?
Ditto on the above comment about the lumbar bladders as mine deflate in short order.

I have actually raised the front of the seat by about 25mm already and yes it does improve it a bit but unfortunately not enough for me.

All you'll need is a couple of longer bolts and some spacers (I used washers) and you will have the seat tilted back in a matter of minutes.
