Hi,

My Lotus S2 111S 2004 has just developed a fault on starting. It does not seem to catch or engage the fuel pump. The following video will give a better idea;

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ObVb5WXD3lXEJH87...

The checks I have done so far;
- Checked the battery and fully charged it.
- Pressed the rear inertia switch in case it tripped, it did click but made no difference.
- Checked all of the front fuses.
- Checked for obvious loose cabling but none found.

Any suggestions would be apprecated?

Alternatively, as it is immobile, does anyone know if there any good Lotus specialists near Warrington?

Many thanks,
Carl

Hi, looks very similar (identical) to a fault I had on mine a few years ago..
Multi Function Relay Unit (it's runs fuel pump etc ) I wasted a load of time on wild internet Goose chases.. Think it sits low down in the engine compartment, I had mine moved higher to prevent similar again.. Basically mine had been ingressing water and the printed circuit board was badly corroded.. I was amazed it had not given me issues leading up to it packing up... New one plugged in job sorted!
Hope that helps - hope you get it fixed..
Regards Jim.
