Could anybody recommend which tyres for road use only on an Exige S3 please
Avon ZZ5
Pirelli P0 corsa
Bridgestone
Yoko A038
?
Got Pirelli at the moment but will need changing soon

Just switched to pilot sport 4. Happy so far

Whatever you chose you've got to make sure the wear a ting is correct...the fronts are soft due to the light weight on the front axle.

Happy Christmas Lotus owners
I have decided to give the Avon ZZ5 tyres a go and will give you an update on performance etc in the New Year when the weather improves

I would suggest Nankang NS2-R. I use them for most of my road miles and they’re actually very good tyres. Significantly better than the Pirelli Corsas on the Exige and great value too at about £500 for the full set. Also, you can run 215 instead of 205 on the front which helps get the front turned in.

I have also run Pirelli Trofeo R which were amazing but wear rate was too high to justify the cost so often.

I’m going to try the Michelin Cup 2 next I think, they’re a bit more money than the Nankangs but you can get them in wider sizes if running the forged wheels which means I can hopefully get the power down a bit better!
