Just finally killed my suspension on a track day. Does anyone have any suggestions for suitable replacements for S1 111S?

to cut to the chase you have 2 options.

S2 suspension (Bilsteins) that you can get from Hangar111 amongst other places

and

Nitron suspension.

£500 Vs £1000 but Nitron being superior if you track the car

Many thanks Jon.
As track days will be infrequent, the Bilsteins sound better value!
Do you know if these become noisy after time as my originals have?

Koni's should be good for around 20k miles on the road - maybe even more before they get noisy

bilsteins are a lot better so should last longer and are loads quieter - a great upgrade for around £500.

Nitrons cost a grand - a bit more but people swear by them and they can be reconditioned.

best to try a car with both to see what you think.

both have a lower ride height and nitrons are adj too.

be careful about the ride height, I have just been through all this, check my posting. I found that even with Nitrons on the S2 lowering it caused the front wheel to foul. Now running around 115mm front & 120mm rear. Not sure what difference, if any it has made yet.

The Nitrons are generally built to be run at a specific ride height. The Koni's sound noisy from new!
