My S2 shocks are leaking, so perhaps time to upgrade to Nitron Street springs and dampers. Question is, should I order the S2 K series kit or go for the S1? I assume brackets would be changed etc. Is it worth the faff?

I've just done the exact same thing. I ordered S1 Nitron Street Series. You just need to change the rear brackets for original S1 brackets, fronts are fine. They are relatively cheap on the deroure.com website and they are in stock.

I’ve done the same thing on my S1, upgraded from S2 Bilsteins to Nitrons. I got the S2 Rover Nitrons and I’m really happy with them. You’ll need to keep the S2 brackets.
Hope that helps!

Edit: they cut 2 seconds a lap off my time at the local track!
