I was really surprised how much attention the new exige gets, but kind of get it!
Sat down in the beer garden yesterday evening enjoy a cold beer and in pulls a R8 V10+ being a bit of a petrol head this got my attention and a few other looked over.
moments later in pulls a new exige - people stood up to take a look, kids around it asking their dad if it was a Ferrari, people taking pictures with their cameras, 2 girls shouting wow that's nice, Have to hand it to Lotus certainly have done a good job on styling it does look good in the flesh.

I have been pretty much overwhelmed by the amount of interest people take in my Exige, especially whilst driving through France and Germany last month, I must have seen 50 people take a photo. It even generated more interest than a 458 at the services, but the German driver of that car was snooty, to say the least, and thus wasn't encouraging any admirers.
Certainly generates some positive vibes out there!

totally agree, mine is black with black wheels so hardly out there in terms of colour but i get loads of attention. I have had two girls behind filming on their phones, kids come up, older people come up, ppl in other marques ask to be taken out in it, get let out at junctions by truck drivers.....i could go on and on.
I joked to the dealer they should warn you about it as it's so much!

That's the cool thing about owning any Lotus, lots of the right attention.
I had a carbon grey Evora a few years ago... even van drivers would let me out and give it the thumbs up! I have a supercharged Elise for fun now.. British Racing Green with yellow stripe.. It's for driving not posing but as aside it always attracts loads of positive attention! Kids always point and their parents smile.

Positive attention in the main. After a recent driving trip around Wales I was pootling along the M4 in a mini Lotus convoy - a yellow Exige and an orange Evora so hardly subtle! We had people hanging out of car windows to film the cars on their smartphones at one point, lots of pointing and waving from youngsters. The Exige in particular suits the wilder colours. The brighter the better in my view.
When I turned up at my house after collecting my 220 cup, the local kids ran over saying "wow, look at that Lamborghini"!!
I had to correct their mistake and they then said "what's a Lotus"!!
I then said "something that looks like a Lamborghini"!!
