this red car is back up for sale, and i'm intrigued if honest as i was tempted last year to have a look at buying it when it came up then. if i recall, its been sold a couple of times recently, so alarm bells have rung on it when it reappeared, however it always looks like a nice tidy car in the adverts. it was available @ £29k if i recall a year or two ago, its price is slowly creeping up by the look.

i know of the guy selling it, he does a lot of exiges and elises, so i've not an issue there, but this red car jumped out at me previously and i missed out on it as such.

Don't know the car I'm afraid but the seller, Will, is a well respected member of SELOC with a good reputation for Lotus sales and am sure would answer any questions honestly. S2 Exige prices are firming up, wish I'd kept mine. cry

Yea I know of Will, not questioning him at all, it's just this red car was sat for sale for ages, then sold, then reappeared again in a short time?
It was mentioned before with service history queries if I remember.

If I remember rightly, I'm not 100% it's this car but there can't be many red post 2010 cars with red stripes and non probax seats.

The car was for sale at jct600 someone bought it but the ac failed shortly after purchase.. Jct gave him an elise whilst the exige was being repaired. Only the ac part wasn't in Stock with lotus or the manufacturer so the car was sat at jct for aggggggeeeees, with them doing a deal on the elise iirc.

Looks a great car. Will B has a strong reputation. As you've noticed, prices have risen. Even at the higher price, if you keep it a couple of years I'd be surprised if you didn't get at least 90% of your money back. Little else will touch it in depreciation terms and they are wonderful cars. The more you wait, the more expensive they become.

How about this for a coincidence? Reading some back issues of Evo magazine and edition 232 March 2017 under buying journey there is a picture of this same car ! Whether the article refers to this actual car or uses a stock picture the owner mentions writing off his exige 240pp

not quite sure tho why this same car had a pic used in Evo! Bizarre but just jumped off the page at me while reading lol
