Morning all
I took a test drive in a 380 yesterday and a V6S. The sound of the 380 was immense and almost sold it for me on the spot. However, I took a look at some of the trackday options for 105dba and above and they are limited. I foolishly did not try the 350 when I was there, does anyone have experience of the difference in quality of the sound (the 380 was night and day from the V6S) and the level?
I also tried a Honda Supercharged S1 last week - that was a ride!!

I drove the 350, 380 and evora 400 all back to back.
I ended up going for a 350 for the following reasons:
the extra £15k (carbon is a must have option on the 380 so bumps the cost up) wasn't worth it for me as a first time Lotus buyer and newbie to track days
the 350 was more comfortable on the road which is where i will spend most of my time
2bular are just about to launch a track system for the 350 with no packing and lovely sound so this will solve the noise/track dilemma
i actually preferred the look of the 350 and found the 380 seats uncomfortable
I am sure a 380 cup or 400 cup / hethel edition will come out in 18 or so months so i will probably upgrade then.
I pick it up a week today and am beyond excited!
