Exige stone chip damage !!!

To all you Exige owners suffering from stone chip damage down both sides of the car, there is a fairly simple remedy. We (Nelmes) have found that Elise 1 front mudflaps can be fitted (with a little stretching and manipulating) to the Exige. The fit isn''t perfect, but it''s an 8/10 fit and certainly goes a very long way to preventing stones flying off those very sticky front tyres at 30/40 mph and taking lumps of bodywork off with them at the same time. You can do it yourself if you''re that way inclined, or get your local dealer (or us - Nelmes - 01708 381655) to do it for you. You will need to trim about 1/4 inch off the bottom edges.
