Hi guys,

I am about to buy an exige but am undecided on the two options.

Hoping to get your thoughts on the two cars.

My use will be track and fun road driving - it will be a 3rd car.

Lastly what options would you deem must have - my list so far is:

sound deadening
stereo
air con
black alcantara with red stitching
red calipers
black wheels with silver spokes
metallic grey
Alcantara steering wheel with red line
B&W union jack on spoiler ends
Silver central stripe

Should look like the below

Not that I'm in a position to spec one from new; but if I were, the forged wheels in gun metal or silver would be on the list.

I would also opt for a 2bular exhaust with switchable valve. The Lotus titanium one on the 380 does sound amazing though... both may/will struggle for track!

If you go for the 380 would it not have a different spoiler too, leaving no room for the decals?

Great conundrum to have OP!

Decals go on the 380 spoiler end plates too. Or at least I hope they do as I've just ordered some for mine, due for collection before the month end. Quite excited.

I'd go for forged wheels to reduce unsprung weight but other than that your spec looks good. Maybe add carbon bits if feeling flush? I'm buying mine from dealer stock so I'm adding carbon hardtop and hatch cover as an afterthought. I think the existing standard carbon in the 380 will look incomplete without these, but it's a chunk more money going into an already pricey car. Hey ho.

I almost went for a 350 Herthel Edition but then watched a review of the 380 and couldn't resist.

That looks stunning, go for it, 380 of course. Forged wheels deffo. What colour is that?

the 380 gets expensive quickly given the +£10k start price but i am guessing it should also retain its value better.

The only issue with the 380 is an exhaust that doesnt allow you on track due to noise restrictions which is an annoying thing to have to pay to change on a car that is meant for the track!
