I'm contenplating swapping my elise for a 340R (it's on a PCP and I figure that I should be able to keep the payments about the same given I paid £22k for the elise and 340R's are around that figure now).

Went to Bell & Colvill yesterday where I got the original from and the deal they offered me was, to say the least, uninspiring.

Anyone got any recommendations of dealers in and around the south east that are a bit more "keen" for business?

Thanks,

I am having similar problems - also a B&C customer

I think they are just fully stocked at the moment - so offering lower trade ins - plus - end of summer etc

what they offered on my car was 5k lower than a higher mileage car (same model) on the forecourt ....

I wasn;t that tempted

Hi joust,

Wow, I'm impressed. A new Noble M12, a new X5 and now a 340R . Any jobs going at your place ?

With a garage-full like that you must have a few PH type stories to tell to enlighten our day .

It's called DINK - Dual Incomes, No Kids - and that's the way it's staying!

The X5 is our motorway cruiser, and the M12 my new toy. However the M12 isn't a convertible, so I was thinking of keeping either the elise, or swapping it for a 340 to keep the "open top" experience.

Did I also mention I run around in an original Audi Ur-Quattro.

Petrol head - moi - never!

Had similiar derisory offer (£17,500) when I considered trading in my Elise Sports Tourer (7 mths old - 4000 miles) for the new 111 S. Needless to say I wasnt interested. Residuals are certainly not quite as good as they used to be.
