Gear knob - help please

How do I remove the knob from my gearstick. I think it's a standard one, it has one large allen key head on the top covered by a small lotus badge. Do I need to undo the allen key, or does it just twist off?????

not tham i'm an expert but it must release via the allen key. Speaking of the small lotus badge on top does anyone know where i can get one of them (does anyone have any for sale?) as mine fell off and i lost it, looks untidy without it!

Thanks Tanman, I'll give it a go. I got the badge from Bell & Colvill, I guess most main dealers must stock them. Cost about £1.30 ish

Try Eliseparts or Hanger 111 for the gear knob badge.

my gear knob ,S1 std fittment ,unscrews ??
if you have no joy with yours by undoing the grub screw try unscrewing the knob using some stilsons or simular. protect the knob with rubber or something to prevent damage
oh, it will be tight !
