Right then Lotus lads n lasses, who's up for an Easter meet then? Easter Monday, 12:30 at The Woodman in Ide Hill.

Nov/Dec/Jan meets were very successful by all accounts, with 40 cars turning up in Nov. Usually a good mix of Porsche, TVR, Ultima, Cobra's etc. Only a couple of Elise's generally but would be great to get more along.

Who's up for it?

Tim

Hi,

sounds like a good idea and have not been along before. May try and make it for a quick one. Watch out for Quartz S2 with Red Roof.

Looks like a good day guys.

I would be up for a track day over the summer (assuming I sell mine and get another one by then)

P.S Boggy, in the picture in Mrs Boggy's profile you look like your stoned off your tit5! Was it taken on a family outing to Amsterdam?

Nice one - had a cracking trip back to TW down some superb lanes via Edenbridge and Marsh Green, roof off, induction and 'zorst howling like mad... I'm sure it's wrong to love a bit of metal and plastic that much!!

Boggy's - will email you about a Walshy day. I keep putting it off and would be nice to go with fun people and have a convoy there and back. Will email you to discuss possible dates. June looks like being the earliest (28th and 30th have 3 places free) and then opens up into July. For first one you get a 10% discount being SELOC members so would be £153 each on a 4 person day. Only done on weekdays though so means day off the graft.

Hi Davey!

Just spoke to Boggy and relayed your message as he is busy, he said to say unfortunately we weren't in Amsterdam, we were at Chessington World of Adventures in the rain for my 25th Birthday and he needed 'the good stuff' to take the pressure off as we had his little boy for the day!! ha ha ha

Me and Boggy look forward to seeing ya at the track day!

sounds great re. Walshy day, will be a blast and a giggle! Me and Boggy tie the knot on June 25th so anytime after that will be great!

Boggy took us back via M25, still had the roof off, fresh air was fantastic! blew the cobwebs away!

Hiya Dave,

Sorry about the slow reply been with Client's, I tell you after a Day out with my son Luis you need more than a Spli*. That day turned out to be a right mare ! he was so badly behaved that me and Mrs Boggy had to take him home, he refused to come and sat on the floor, I had to drag him out kicking and kept shouting (Help Help these people are kidnapping me there not my parent's to everyone who walked by) He's a Sharp lad my son (Great)

Any ideas or suggestions for the track day? Bedford would be a good idea as you can't hit anything, loads of run off.

You will enjoy the Walshy day at North Weald. Great fun putting your car into a 540 spin at 90 miles an hour. Worthwhile getting his DVD as well. I think he advertises on here (carlimits.com). At least you will have an idea of what he is talking about when you go.

I need to do another one soon to refresh the skills.

Cheers

Trust me mate you will love it. Its scary the first time you do it but after that its fantastic. Theres nothing you can hit so its not a problem.

Hi Tim,

was good to meet a few enthusiasts. Left a note on Seloc thread about where i got to, missed the drive, got stuck in restaurant waiting for food!

hopefully wont be so hungrey next time i turn up at a pub at lunch time!

I have DVD, its ok but nothing special, theres only a few things to learn in it, the best way is to get on track. Have had a go and it is fun and scary, done a couple of them 540 spins trying to find the limit!
