the motorsport elise is really a great racecar. at the track in
mas du clos wee beat the following cars.

Porsche 911 RS 2,7 = best laptime 1"35.21
Porsche 911 RS 3,8 = best laptime 1"31.78
Porsche 911 GT 3 = best laptime 1"32.92
Honda NSX race = best laptime 1"32.82
Honda Integ. TypeR = best laptime 1"32.54
Lotus 340 R = best laptime 1"34.92
Lotus Elise 190 = best laptime 1"33.41 (uic-racing)

motorsport elise = best laptime 1"30.86 (uic-racing)

ääähhh, wee dont tell the guys, that wee drove with old tyres, and wee are sure, that wee can go 1.5 sec faster with new tyres
once more, the motorsport elise (orig. Autobytel) was the star on the track.

An ITR faster than a Sport 190 Elise...

I feel very sad.

... and Dijon, wats about Dijon ? The fastest ITR Honda goes in around 1.36. I need 1"33.80 with the 190 Elise. Bestlap with Motorsport is 1"31.24. September 5. and 6. wee are 2 days in Dijon, target is under 1"30 for Motorsport.

Excellent achievement! Sounds like a you have a damn good car and driver to go with it....have you guys done development work on it or is it one of the 'standard' racers from the Lotus season last year?

hi nightmare

it is the autobytel car no. 11 (Corus Hotels)driven by edward cole (winner-up season 2001).
the car has around 230bhp (testet)! wee modified some details, but the rest is standart from the autobytel championsship.
wee realised soon, that this car is a perfekt race car. wee beat other stronger car in Dijon, Hockenheim,Mas du Clos, ect. central seat, quaife gearboox, mutch power between 5000rpm and 8400rpm. the chassis and the breaks play in an other dimension !! both are more then great !!!
... and in five month wee goes 2000 miles on race tracks and have no problems with the car.

i hope you understand why wee love the car, and sorry, for my englisch, i am still learning :-)

Its very fair to say that your english is MUCH better than my swiss, romanche or French!!! thouh as a hint, it's 'we' not 'wee'

The mag reviews of the new motorsport 190's perfomance look very impressive. It seems it only weighs 710kg - which appears lighter than a standard liz. Anyone know what's been ditched? Carpets and AC I expect.

Could you survive everyday driving, and the cold uk winters in this 190? Would the cold / damp / noise piss me off?...

sorry, I know the Elise only as a race car. The Standart Elise is no problem, but the 190 for everiday ???
