Elise dash lights
Discussion
Sorry for a typical noob question, I've tried researching myself but can't find the answer!
I'm looking to purchase an s1 Elise, the picture of the dash lights show the fuel warning light, but below an amber water temp light. Question is, is this normal when starting up, I.e it's showing water temp to be normal, or is this a warning light that shouldn't be there?

Just checked my manual. If I'm understanding correctly there is no light behind the water symbol, instead the LCD tells you temp and flashes if high. What you're probably seeing is just light leakage from the low fuel warning light above.
All bulbs light up in self test on first turning the key before starting, so it should be clear what stays on and goes off when you start the car.
Hope that helps.

This, that's just illumination of the symbol for the fuel guage and water temp. Low fuel light is bottom right of the dash IIRC (top right being the engine management light). All bulbs light up in self test on first turning the key before starting, so it should be clear what stays on and goes off when you start the car.
Hope that helps.
