SJR Superleggero Cross - danger of tire rub?
Discussion
Hey,
To change from the original AD07 to AD08R I needed wider wheels. The most beautiful forged wheels I could find were the SJR Superleggero Cross which I organized straight from Japan and are the pride of my Elise now.
As I am rolling 7.5; ET+27; 205 in the front and 8.5; +32; 235 rear the wheel arches are rather filled now. I am a little worried that the tires will rub in the wheel arches, especially on track days.
Is there anyone here with experience on a similar setup in combination with the original Mk2/3 Bilstein suspension? Should I mentally prepare myself for some trouble? Is a suspension swap needed so I can harden things up on the track and save my ultimate swag status?
Best
J
PS: they look amazing
