I've owned a S2 in the past that was Honda SC'd, I'm looking at getting back into a S1 this time around as have another car for the work commute.

Any owners with some thoughts on theirs, I know the sill is different and the roof leaks even more for fun but anything else to note when looking?

Anyone looking to sell send me an email with details smile

Can't help you with regard to the S1, but did you do the SC conversion ? I've got a honda s2 and been thinking about doing this after the summer. Pro/cons?

Ah fair enough. I've been thinking about it, but a couple of things worry me: I have no traction control and given the Norfolk roads in winter its dicy enough as it is so I'd need to sort this as well, and the other thing is the noise - I'm not sure if the SC wine would annoy me after a while. Watching videos of aerials its all you can hear - what was it like? Why did you sell?

Traction wasn't really an issue, just treat the throttle like an analog device and you'll be ok.
Noise wise, mine had a high flow cat and big (8x24) back box and was plenty quiet enough. The sc whine wasn't intrusive and compared to a Exige S with TRD filter was more or less the same.

I didn't sell it, was written off by someone moving over on me whilst I was overtaking them shoot

They are quite hard to place a value I'm happy to spend on one I'm finding.
The Silver S1 at Maidstones is way overpriced and needs a reality check considering it needs some tlc.
The red SC CC S2 is a great spec but a bit overpriced again IMO, would bite his arm off it was closer to £25K.
The black S1 looks ok but some of the photos are crap and doesn't really show too much.

It will be case of bidding my time I think and something will turn up that ticks all the right boxes smile

This red one (S1) is £15,999. (I have no connection to the car or seller and no idea if it is any good...)
