Hi all,

My car is going in for repair and paint next week, part of me, the daft part, I know.. is thinking of a full colour change.... My thinking is with the car being a leggy previous CAT D making it a little different from std might make it more desirable to any potential buyers in the future, that and the fact that I can lol...

What colour is your favorite on a Lotus? I've done dark grey to death with my S1 and Esprit, so thinking of breaking the mould on this one, or maybe not lol..

Anyway, I'm needing inspiration so please post some pics below of your favorite car colours regardless of make :thumbsup

:cheers

There was an s1 Exige which sold end of last year in Kawasaki Green. It looked fantastic.

Something vivid; dull colours just don't work on the Elise, IMO.

Thanks guys! any pics to inspire me?

Car is currently Quartz silver, I actually kinda like it but feel it's not everyone's cup of tea, I know lots of folk who dislike silver cars. As so much needs painting I'm kinda in the mind set that I'm maybe as well to change the colour to something more saleable, not that i'm planning a sale, just thinking of the future....

I nearly bought an isotope green one with alcantara seats in black with isotope green stitching. Looked fantastic. Bought a crappy white one instead to replace the blue one and it didnt last long

I've been thinking about repsraying mine - aside from the cost I wonder if it will reflect badly when coming to sell as people might be suspicious or if I take lots of photos before and after - perhaps in the shop - then it should be ok?

That's gorgeous! Had I bought an S2 Exige in a colour other than Chrome Orange which I did, then I would have been booking in for a respray right now!
