Good to hear everyones views in the commuting thread!

What would you say to a Stage-2 exhaust on the 111R?

I know its noise when you cane it - GOOD!!!

But, what about motorway and general trundling at low revs? I wonder if it will remain as practical?

Go for it.

It'll put a smile on your face even sitting in traffic.

Did 350 miles yesterday in my 111R with stage-2 and a Reverie Daytona on it and would say its quieter on the motorway than my old S2 with Janspeed and Hurricane. Too loud for most trackdays though...

Just drove a Level-2 Exige with Pipercross, or should I say PIPERCROSS.

IMO save the Piper-tricks it'll be easier to live with than my 111S LSE.

Less drone, less boom, just sounds more hard tuned, rather than noisy.

Have a stage 2 on my 111R and have been doing a fair bit of mileage round the M25 - motorways are fine, if your in sixth cruising along around 80 @ ~4200-4600 rpm its actually quite quiet.

I'm thinking about the stage 2. I have stage 1 at the moment. Is it hard to change between the two if I were to fit some quick release srews to the under tray? (please bare in mind I'm not tallented with a spanner.... yet)
