Replacement Fuel Cap
Discussion
Hi Guys;
The fuel cap of my 05 Exige "fell to bits" in my mechanics hands the other day. I've tried sourcing a replacement one that would match my keys, however was told that this is not possible.
Does anyone know of a cap that matches the original cup/bowl or am I going to have to replace the whole lot? The car sleeps indoors and I can add a filter to the piping so the replacement does not have to be a locking one.
TIA

Yepp, but those are for the S1, there are no caps for the S2 available at EP.If it is the lock barrel that has come out of the cap you can buy a new cap from Lotus without the lock barrel. When you get it you take the lock barrel from your original cap and basically turn it into the cap on the key until it locks in place. You the have a new cap with the original lock, jobs a carrot.
Did it on my S2 Exige, cost for the new cap was about £50
