Elise S2 insurance costs

Last year I discovered a website where comparisons of insurance costs were listed with details of driver age rough location etc. A valuable information exchange - especially as mine is due soon. Also least expected companies were in there. What I have discovered so far is that the Lotus specialist insurers are pants.
Last year I paid 1200 pounds for 15000 mile business use garaged and in Milton Keynes area for myself 25 yrs and wife 25yrs, into context 300 pound dearer than a 12000 audi A3 1.8T sport - that was with Direct Line. With a similar price to that last year was Tesco insurance (surprised I'm sure).
This year Direct Line seem again to be the cheapest - by a long way, 876.14 quid - 10000 miles just social domestic and pleasure with commuting, again myself and the wife although another year older. Just out of interest a boxter S was about 1100 pounds....
