Would it be bad to sell my new AR 111S's hardtop?

Picked up my new Ardent Red 111S yesterday, which looked great, specially with hardtop on.

Took it off today and am thinking of selling it.

My question is could it be difficult come car resale time?

An 05 Elise 111S will be expected to have one (as they are standard equipment), so may hurt resale, whether you can get more selling separately than the negative on p/xing is the question!
