hello to everybody, I have an Exige s2 since July 2004, with sport pack and lev.2 exaust, a great dream....somebody have news on the TRD KIT (Turbocharge) for the TOYOTA engine, many rumors last summer......, but since to day a BIG MYSTERE, nobody in Hethel want to talk on these topic!

Have a look on SELOC as the rumour is a supercharger due to be announced end of Jan 05 with delivereies in June 05 for factory cars. The rumour also says the kit will be available for retro fit and that the supercharger sits up in the engine bay under the Exige cover, as they couldn't get it lower dow due to lack of space.

Do you know if there's any specific event that they'll announce this? (if they're going to!)

Just about to take the plunge and buy an Exige... probably around the end of the month!! So it'll be useful to know the price of the factory fitted car before I place my order.

rumor has it there will be an Exige R at Geneva Auto Show in March. I´d wait until then, you won´t regret it.

cool. how much extra BHP would you expect to get from a supercharger on a 1.8 ...... if anyone cares to speculate ?

around 240 - 250 BHP from what I've heard (thats the total figuren not just the increase)

I've heard that kind of bhp figure too, as that level of bhp is something of limit of the Toyota engine before major strengthening would be required. If that is the fundamental constraint, the package could be developed to focus on really enhancing torque across the rev range which would be quite exciting.

Just so long as it can be retrofitted!!!
