Hi all,

I've had a bit of a hankering for an Exige for a while and over Christmas finally took the plunge and bought a car from Merritts in Amersham. Spec is Storm Titanium with, stage 1 exhaust, air con and touring pack.

Obviously the running-in period and generally dodgy weather conditions mean I'll be taking it easy for a while to come, but look forward to sharing my findings on here and perhaps meeting a few people at events.

Cheers,
Chris

Good choice but will be a fair bit different from your Mazzer.

You should have gone for the Chrome Orange or Krypton Green though

I was certainly very tempted by some of the lairier colours but to be honest chickened out as was worried I might get bored of them. Hope I don't live to regret my decision!

A dealer has a Krypton Green for sale at the moment Boggy. Cant remember which one though. They had it advertised in Top Marques.

Top colours would have to be green, orange or yellow.

There is a superb picture in EVO this month of Simonspiders Orange Murcie, Meadens green Exige and Frasers yellow S1 together.

Got the car as planned on Saturday - everything went smoothly with the collection. I'm in the running in period currently but initial impressions are very good. I'm feeling my way carefully in the current weather conditions but if its this much fun limited to 4000 revs I can't wait until the 1000 mile service is out the way!

Here are a couple of quick pictures if anyone is interested ...

Gorgeous Chris - looks brilliant in that colour. In fact I've yet to see an S2 Exige that looks bad in ANY colour.

You lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky... etc!

Brilliant whatever the colour!!!

Always been a fan from a distance as I've been a 911 nut for the past 6 years (turbos, rs's etc..). However the more I see of the exige the more I think I should have one, I remember taking my mates series one elise round castle combe 5 seconds quicker than my 993 turbo, should have come to my senses then I guess.

Congrats, Enjoy!!!!
