I'd go with bks bks bks bks. My Mrs dropped my 993 keys in sink of water just as I sold the car and picking the new owners up from station!!

Is there anyway of changing these old style keys to the new style with it all in key?

Good that it works for now though.

Put a zip tie through the end of it and you will get it back on your key ring!

You can buy replacement shells for those alarm fobs on ebay for just a few pounds, complete with the rubber tag spin

I have put both my meta keys/fob through the washing machine a few times now by mistake, and they both still work, I would have thought that type prolonged submersion in water should have ruined the delicate circuitry??!
