makes sense thencan you guys shift and keep it in the higher cam each time as in the celica it was almost impossible and the only way people managed was an apexi ecu and changed the lift cam
Yes, just. The Lotus implementation revs to 8500, which is slightly higher than the Toyota version. It's easy to get the cam shift point lowered a bit with a reflash, though. I had it done, it makes a difference.
It's probably also less of an annoyance because the torque below the cam shift point is more acceptable in a light car. I'm not sure I'd fancy that engine in something a good third heavier.
