How long will a battery last alone?

Hi All,

Random question I know, new to Lotus Ownership, picked up a 2002 S2 111S on Thursday and got the full Lotus welcome when the Alternator packed up over the weekend, with no where open I had the car recovered home. I now need to get to my garage tomorrow, it's about 5 miles. I borrowed a trickle charger and have the car on charge tonight, will it make the 5 miles tomorrow just off the charge I can get into the battery?

Should do - my S1 did around 40 miles to a garage and was still able to be started.

I did 60 miles in my exige S1 after the alternator went, then had to be recovered by the breakdown company!!!
