S1 Elise prices

Hadn't looked since I was considering an S1 last year - the lower edge seemed around £7k ish now it seems like £10k
Having bought a TVR last year I stopped looking but that Elise itch is starting again

So is that more representative, and is the current rise just due to shortage of cars for sale?

I was looking this time last year, and the only things I could find for 7.5k were unloved and in need of a full front end respray at the very least. Not for me so I bought a VX220 instead.
I'd be surprised if the going price for a decent S1 is below 10k this year as well.

Similar to selym above I was recently looking for an Elise and found the cheaper cars were in need of a fair bits and pieces. A £7k car could quickly become £8.5k!

I found good ones seemed to be around £8.5k and upwards, although often with hoggish mileage if that bothers you.

I also went for a VX220 as I liked the mix of S2 benefits with S1 prices. If I was spending more cash I would have gone for an S2.
