Hello,

I'm frederic from france, just a simple question : in a europa (modern) do we have more space than in a lotus elise/exige S1 ? In term of head space, legs space ? In other words is it bigger ?
I know its's the same chassis as Vx220 but I've never sat in.

The reason why I ask this question is because I'm very tall, I have a 293hp lotus elise honda S1 and it's a lot to small for me so I'm selling it but I would like to stay under a ton with a rear center engine for my next car. So the europa could be a good opportunity for me.

I expect the europa to be bigger so I can sit in with a seat....yes I'm driving my elise without seat, directly sitting on the floor...I know I'm a crazy guy...

Thanks for your help

Frederic

Same size, but easier to get in / out (lower sills).
No more leg room, chassis isn't that different.

The Europa is essentially like an S2 Elise/Exige inside, but compared to those the sills are slightly lower and the roof slightly higher. So if your problem is leg room it won't help at all, and I don't think the difference in roof height is much so if you're having problems with the roof in the S1 I doubt the situation will be sufficiently better in the Europa! I don't actually know the height difference though. Maybe I should get a tape measure out at some point smile

Don´t bother, what you said is enough to make me certain !
The Europe is not for me.

Thank you very much for your help
