Elise colour

Some time ago at a pub club meet at the west meon pub down south, there was this Elise.

Picture doesn't do the colour justice but I want to know what colour it is as it's not on Lotus colour chart?



It might be Chili Red, it looks orange in the pic but it didn't in the flesh.

Can anyone help

Looks like it might be the same colour as mine which is lava orange ... In the flesh as you say its an amazing colour!

Looks pretty nice in the photos too. What with Miley Cyrus, need to see a lot less flesh these days

Does anyone know the car. Not convinced its an orange but it might be. Does yours look orange in person. This looked redish/orange but looks orange in the photo.

Lotus did chrome orange which is a quite light orange and lava which, whilst still is very obviously orange, is darker and a little pearlescent in sunlight. Lava is quite rare (I think it was discontinued after just a couple of years) whilst chrome was available for quite a few years.

I don't know the car you posted but well worth a visit to the seloc forums to ask as it looks like the sort of car that would certainly be remembered!

My car is chilli red! there is a gold fleck in the paint and it will go orange when the sun hits it. Out of the sun it looks the same as Ardent Red (until you park it next to an Ardent red car). However the car in the picture looks a bit too orange to me.

It didn't look that colour in the flesh it was an orangey red colour, which is why I liked it as it wasn't a std looking colour. Got any pics if yours?
