I'm quite attracted to it, but the price seems a little low compared to others (or others are too high? )

Also, the chap selling it (amongst other inventories!) - it all looks a little....strange?

Eta - I know, I missed the 'k' out of the title...

The car has been available for around 4 months. It was advertised at around the £26k mark by a private seller. No idea how much the dealer paid for the car, but would imagine between £24/25K Only guessing. Its a wonderful looking car in my eyes, nice colour and spec and not modified, but I wouldn't call it cheap. It's disappeared from sale a couple of times. Both times I thought it had been sold. I'm just dissappointed that I didn't have the funds to buy it when it first came available. Would have thought an offer of around the £27K will see it sold but once again only guessing. Never know if the dealer has spent money on the car or not. I would think he just cleaned it and added his margin.

Price wise it actually appears a couple £000 less than others of similar age/mileage, but is lacking the performance or sport pack - short roof scoop but AP brakes?

Perhaps the brakes were added by the previous owner.

As it is, it's actually too far for me to go and look at at the moment.

Thanks for the information Simpo.

Well according to their website it does have the sport pack and from the description it does sound like it too...

Oh and naturally £500 more than the PH website!!

It also appears to have the rather lovely 240r wheels (I think - certainly not the regular wheels).

And it has an MLOC sticker on so you could go and ask on there.

I have to say with that colour and stripe combo I think it looks absolutely bloody gorgeous.

I can attest that those brakes are a DAMN expensive upgrade too.
And makes it relatively likely that it was used on track - if you care.

Ah yes, it has the sport pack.

Just not the performance pack.

I'm guessing it's on SOR and the seller is just a broker of some type.

I'd have thought with the suspension it has then yes, been used on track - wouldn't bother me though.

As a comparison, I had a look at the RGB at Silverstone today - higher miles and only £3k dearer, so possibly a better proposition for me.

Suspension is standard for that model.
Also its not got 2010 MY clams just an aftermarket rear spoiler so the description is a little misleading....

They are in the pics - the description says otherwise.

Hmmm.....

I wouldn't read to too much into it, the description of Lotus/AP calipers strictly is true for the standard brakes too.

I think it it's definitely worth a view!

I don't want anything less than the 4 pot AP brakes that I had on my last Exige.

With that in mind, I'm going to try and get up to Leeds over the Christmas break and take a look at the black one at JCT.
I've seen the RGB that Silverstone have in, but feel 29k miles is too much for me.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma - really want to get back into an Exige - it's been 2.5 years since, but really like the Spyder I have now.
Would like the V6, but can't justify (or actually afford!) mid £50's for a weekend car.
