I have been working on a motor magazine project.
This magazine's issue is a Elise.
I have some question...
Can I do an interview about ELISE?

1. Where is your favorite place or driving route when you drive your ELISE?

2. What kind of music do you usually listen to when you drive?

3. What are your main considerations when you buy cars?

4. When I am thinking, there are not many people considering buying an ELISE. What made you make a decision to choose an ELISE?

5. What cars have you driven before you taking the ELISE?

6. What were pros and cons on ELISE?

7. What car do you expect to buy as a dream car except ELISE?

8. What would you express ELISE in a word?

9. Would you send me a photo of your ELISE come out well?
It would be better if the photo comes out with the car owner.
For high quality printing, higher resolution is preferred on photos.

Any answer is good.Please enjoy.
Thanks a lot.

Your english is better than my Korean biggrin
1 pretty much any country road, roof off listening to birds singing, smell of dew and fields, nice view, mooing cows etc, not going actually that quick.
2 no music
3 sadly I look for depreciation-proof – because im a bit careful with money and also always poor. Ive always wanted a Lotus and thankfully they have almost no depreciation as second hand buys. The Elise S1 is a sweetspot, in terms of both modern and being able to self service - fairly complicated but still possible for me. There are plenty of other Lotus sweetspots however.
4 great to drive, not much rust, affordable, low depreciation, convertible, nice looking, fun, economical on fuel, fast, pretty.
5 my car history is miserable, Morris minor, Vauxhall viva, Volvo 340, Opel astra 1.7D, cars all required as either given , loaned or all i could afford. The Fiat Barchetta was nice and had that for 10 years – but only bought that originally out of a need to have a LHD car that I could sell back in the UK.
6 mine is 16 years old now, so certain bits have problems, but i bought an example 70% already refurbished so i reckon only another 30% to go – wishbones and bushes being refurbed in February. See (4) for the pros.
7 I suppose a Lotus Esprit S2, but actually not, because im sure to live with they are harder work / st on fuel. Supercars have no interest for me, a bit too flashy and i couldn’t afford the bills. My elise is charge fed or and gives 0-60 in 4 seconds, it terrifies me, apparently you get used to it, I haven’t. The Lamborghini Muira is pretty amazing – agreed by most car fans - but way too expensive to enjoy so id still say no, unless i become a billionaire.
8 Connection.
9 Send me a dropbox or skydrive or similar link and i can give you high res photos.
Good luck with your magazine.

Driving an Elise is like your first high and you will want more if you are a "driver" you are hooked. Ask me how I know.

As I have some good Korean friends, here are my answers:

1. Where is your favorite place or driving route when you drive your ELISE? Anything with a lot of bends, the drive from Wickham in Hampshire to Goodwood circuit in Sussex is a particular favourite.

2. What kind of music do you usually listen to when you drive? Blues and Rock

3. What are your main considerations when you buy cars? How much do I enjoy driving them, how much will it cost to run, can I find the money to buy it.

4. When I am thinking, there are not many people considering buying an ELISE. What made you make a decision to choose an ELISE? I had the pleasure of a long test drive in one.

5. What cars have you driven before you taking the ELISE? I considered Alfa Romeo GTV and Caterham when choosing the Elise in 2004. I owned an Alfa 156 before buying the Elise.

6. What were pros and cons on ELISE? Pro is the driving experience, handling and performance. Con is getting out of the car!

7. What car do you expect to buy as a dream car except ELISE? I wanted to own a Lotus whenI was a schoolboy, so In some ways I have my dream car. If I had the cash, then a Mclaren or an Aston Martin would be nice parked next to the Lotus. I suspect the Lotus would be driven more often though!,

8. What would you express ELISE in a word? Fun

9. Would you send me a photo of your ELISE come out well? Send me an upload URL

Good luck with the magazine

Had a good time with some Korean runners early this year, your tents are too neat though.

Let's go -

1. Where is your favorite place or driving route when you drive your ELISE? Fortunately I live in Scotland, so plenty of roads, favourite is Dukes Pass, a twisty up and down where you are either squirting or braking.

2. What kind of music do you usually listen to when you drive? Music - haha - you'll be lucky - no music.

3. What are your main considerations when you buy cars? Apart from the financial considerations I rate driver enjoyment top, which comes down to handling and 'feel' I suppose.

4. When I am thinking, there are not many people considering buying an ELISE. What made you make a decision to choose an ELISE? It was the best car for the cash at the time. I've still got it.

5. What cars have you driven before you taking the ELISE? I'd had a CRX & MG, considered TVR but went with Lotus.

6. What were pros and cons on ELISE? Ditto - Pro is the driving experience, handling and performance. Con is getting out of the car!

7. What car do you expect to buy as a dream car except ELISE? EXIGE, er, an Exige V6.

8. What would you express ELISE in a word? Alive

9. Would you send me a photo of your ELISE come out well?
