I'm 6'6" and although currently driving a Caterham (with lowered floor), I fancy an Exige S2 as it's slightly less compromised. Problem is that I'm not sure whether I will fit...

Can any S2 drivers on here who are over 6'4" or have a "long back" comment on how they find the car size wise.

Alternatively, what can be done to the seat to drop it as far as possible, even -10 or -20mm would help!

thanks

I'm six foot with very long legs (and consequently a short torso) and I have about 4-5 inches of headroom spare in the Elise. If you're "ape positive" and 6'6, I think you'll be tight.

thks. Are there any specific seat options I should be looking at on potential cars prior to trying them for size? Are the probax (?) seats set lower in the car than std seats?

I believe Probax seats give marginally less headroom than non-Probax ones.

Avoid Cup cars as the different rollcage prevents the seat going so far back.

Fixed seat mounts will give a lower position.
Soft top gives more headroom than the hardtop (maybe consider single skin roof).

I am 6'4", and fit in it OK.
No touring pack on the 111R, so single skinned roof as mentioned earlier does help. Only issues I do have is when going down hill and the road start to go back up in front of me. Then I need to tilt my head to see far enough ahead.

6.2ft all legs (don't laugh) and I need seat full back although head room is ample, if you are anywhere near Hertfordshire you are welcome to see if you fit.
